Some maintenance on a Halo of Heat Dryer.

Whats a water film dryer??? Never heard of that before

The correct term is "condensing" dryer where a mist of water is used to aid the drying process. There was thread describing how these work, but I still don't fully understand the entire process 100%.

I see both water film AND water condensing dryers. Now I'm really confused, lol.

Halo of Heat dryers are characterized by the air inlet being a series of holes in the front of the drum. They the surround the door, forming a ...you guessed it... halo of heat.

Therefore the air-flow went from front to back and had the filter in the rear of the drum.

Today'a dryers deliver the heat in the rear and suck it out in the rear (29" wide KenPools), or from the front (27" wide WhirlMores and everyone else).
