What a great collection of mixers Paul. See many of the Sunbeam colors, do you have the green one? How about any Kenwoods and Brauns? I'm saying to myself "I'm not collecting mixers, I'm not collecting mixers" but they multiply regardless. LOL In fact I saw one the other day out in a little hamlet I went thru on the bike, not far from here and I've half a mind to go grab it but for the life of me at the moment I can't think of the name.. K something. There's also a very good little junktique place near here who seems to have mixer bowls and juicer attachment bowls galore as well as a few old Westinghouse and Dormy mixers in various states. No colored bowls though or I'd have grabbed them.
And it looks like you have an old Sunbeam 2 speed blender there on the shelf that uses the similar jar to the mixmaster but slightly different base.

Wow, what a nice response to my post! I wish I had more photos to share but alas, the collection is packed up and I am anxiously seeking a new home for them. I may just be able to get a couple of the current kitchen - I won't be shutting that down 'till I find a new house.
In the meantime, the oldest Sunbeam is an 'M4J' from the early 1930's; I don't have any Brauns or Kenwoods - yet!; I do have a couple of green Sunbeams, if Turquoise and Avocado count; the mayo recipe is the one I use all the time too - I just love the recipes out of the old appliance cookbooks!
I am so glad to have made the 'e-quaintance' with you all - I am looking forward to sharing the saga of the restoration of the GE 1959 Princess dishwasher I just acquired too. I was inspired by the story of the 1957 Lady Kenmore rescued from her exile in South Dakota! I am going to be out of town for the next few days, but I vow to return with more pix and hopefully news of finding a new house.

Wow! And I thought I was running out of room!

Paul,
Your collection is amazing! I just looked at your first photo for about 10 minutes!
I also love your blenders to the left!
Do you use them all? I know that is a stupid question, but I just picture you baking lot's!
Very nice! And everything looks so darn clean!!!!
Thanks for the photo's!

Chromeys are nice. I saw a beautiful one today the earlier model Mixmaster Junior in chrome but they wanted too much for it.. Also, there's a beautiful copper early MM junior on Ebay right now... also has a buy it now price of $59 I think, but it looks to be pristine.

Hobart Model N

This is my latest addition to my Mixer collection and now that I have it, It's the only mixer I want to use now, usually after I get a new mixer in and use it a couple of times I start to switch them around to run them all but now I just want to use this only now

according to the serial number if I reading it right it'as a 1957 model but if it is it was well cared for. The bowl and the beater is from a Kitchen aid K5 model but the whip is from A Hobart model G. I was told that the kitchen aid beater wouldn't work on it but it does to my suprise but I do use the whip instead to me the whip works better but I do intend to get the proper Hobart beater for it one day. I have put in an order to 2 different supply houses but neither had it in stock and there go for an really enormious amount on ebay. In the supply houses they charge 46.00 plus shipping but on ebay they normally run anywhere from 60 to 100. I could be reading the serial number wrong not sure

Serial number: 14026857

Thanks so much. Yes I at first wanted a Hobart Model G but then When I saw the model N50 and it being newer and better then the G I went ahead and started shopping around but boy those hobarts really do well on ebay if there are complete.
but with everything mine probably cost right at 300.00. like i say there's something about this hobart that grabbed me because normally when I first get a mixer in. I usually use it a couple of times then start using all of my others but for some reason now it's the only mixer I use now.
