So, Ron and his friend Jeff joined Rich and I for a perusal of Brimfield yesterday. After all the rain earlier in the week there was a lot of mud, but a lot of neat things to see, and a few to buy!

Anything can be a lamp.....

The dealer does have the rest of the Savage and will be making another lamp/light with the copper tub after dropping the motor. We need the original on/off switch and if she decides she's not going to use it because of where it's mounted, she'll contact us.

BTW- price tag on this light? $450!

Dare I even comment? It's really a kid's slide. As for the name? Boffo The Clown maybe? He does have a patch in a rather interesting place! I know... kid's slide by day, adult toy by night!!!

Thanks, Sam

It's always so much fun! Good friends, food and finds. How could you ask for anything more :-)

Glad you noticed the percolator. I have been collecting coffee stuff for many years and I have never seen another one like it. I bought it from a retro appliance dealer so it wasn't a steal of a find but I just had to have it :-) I'll keep you in mind should I ever find another one.

The glass percolator

is beautiful.

However, the GE Electric Kitchens kit.....THAT would be under the category "hen's teeth!"

Chuck found the GE electric kitchen...

and if I remember it correctly the dealer told Chuck that he got it from an old school where it was found in the Home Ec department! Chuck can correct me if I'm wrong. It reminds me of the kits that Youngstown Kitchen used for the salesmen to travel with.
