Good afternoon everyone,

I just wanted to say hello and that I'm back. It's been a rough month and a half and I'm glad to be feeling better. I don't usually drop out of clubs like I did, and I apologize. However, I had a good reason. Here's what happened:

On the morning of October 22, I woke up with some severe chest pains. My partner, Chris, took me to the hospital, where they discovered I was getting ready to have a heart attack (thank God they caught it early and took me seriously...they stopped it before there was heart damage). Basically, I had a hereditary issue that, coupled with high cholesterol (and being the right age) was causing the problem.

I had bypass surgery in late October. My partner, my mom, and my grandmother have been around helping out since....at least until my grandmother had an issue with HER heart and had to have emergency surgery two weeks after me. She's now recovering at our house with me. Yeah...I know....this one sounds farfetched, but honestly, this is too ridiculous NOT to be true.

Happily, we are all feeling better. I'm doing well, and so is Granny. Maybe now that things are settling down a bit, I will have time to get back into my vintage appliance hobby. I will log on whenever I can. (Grandma's bedroom also happens to be our office/den). Take care, and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely,
Mike

I hope all becomes well!

Hi!

I hope you and your family will all be back in shape soon..I have been there as far as medical problems go and its not fun...

I had no idea what you've been going through, but am relieved to hear you're on the mend. I hope you and your grandmother are feeling tip-top very soon!

My best to you and Chris!!

I wondered where you had been...

I'm so glad you got help in time. What an awful thing to happen. I'm glad you're getting well and have people taking care of you. Hope you and your Grandma are back on your feet in no time. Take care and hello to Chris as well.

Patrick
