I think I would not send the thing up there for a while and focuus on things here on earth, which are just terrible. When kids pass 4th grade reading as a large majority and 8th grade math, and teachers get paid as much as astronauts and doctors, then maybe we should send the broken thing up again, but only if the government signs a waiver to the taxpayers that it comes out of Congress Member's salries.
Tell me how the Space Shuttle has enhanced my life? Cell Phones? They should be goddam free, the taxpayers put the sattelites up there. Instead we sold out to ATT&T, Verizon, Sprint. These people should be paying us freeking rebates on our bill for using our tax dollars to charge us a fee in the first place! I feel sorry for astronauts in trouble in orbit on this thing if they develop trouble, but what has Space Travel done for this country? I feel a lot sorrier for the dead troops and citizens in Iraq. We have a Middle East that is is more trouble now than since the first obrit of the planet. No cure from Cancer, AIDS, diabetes, has come from the moon,or Mars. All we have are cell phones and cable TV and sattelites that the taxpayers paid for that big companies are charging us to use. I think Space Travel is Bullshit, flag waving, beat the Russians, propaganda that is financed by the USA taxpayers and sold to lobbyists for business ventures by croocked politicians. But that is just me.
Don't send the damn Space Shuttle up again. The world will still go on. No one gives a shit, it is stupid, in light of where the government really needs to spend it's money.
