I went to my local Walmart a couple of days ago to purchase Cascade Platinum among other things.  When I got to that aisle, they were out of almost all dishwasher detergent!  I ended up purchasing some Great Value Advanced Dishwasher Pacs.  I've thrown some pretty tough challenges at it, and I must say that it performed quite well.  I was surprised to find cooked on chili in my crock pot came out completely clean!

I've found taht to be the case simply because of it being a Bosch. Finish tabs, auto and sanitize option. Totally clean every time. And I made 4 separate small baked Frito pies last week and the casserole dishes sat for 5 days before the dishwasher was run. Everything spotless.

Baked casserole dish of Fritos/corn chips topped with chili and cheese.  Can be simple with canned chili, or deluxe with homemade chili.  A fast-food snack item ... slit the edge of a bag of Fritos, add chili, sprinkle cheese, provide a spoon.

Question

Do you notice a scent with this while dishes are washing and more importantly, when you open the dishwasher when the dishes are done, do you still smell traces of it?

The reason I ask is I took a risk and bought some Kirkland dishwasher packs and while it cleans just as good as the Finish powerball I've always used....I can smell it when the dishwasher is done...I don't know if I'm loving having that scent on the dishes. This didn't happen with the powerball. I mean, it's not horrible and seems to dissipate...I was just curious of you noticed this.
thanks
