I was wondering if anyone would have a description of what the following model commercial washer's cycles are like?
Model number SWNBY2PP112TW01

We are using these machines at a temporary apt we have rented in Melbourne,FL. They are all electronically controlled including the payment method. Insert a credit or debit card, if approved, select the cycle and hit start. All the cycles seem to be 45 minutes long regardless of the one chosen.

This is the first time using a SQ machine and wanted to know if it has an actual deep agitated rinse or does it just do the spray rinses during the spin. I cannot seem to figure out if it is just one long spray spin rinse or not.

On some loads, we would like to add a fabric softener but if it doesn't do an actual rinse fill, then there is no way to add the softener. No LCB dispenser either. At least if I knew what the wash time was, I could wait until there are 4 or 5 minutes left and then add the bleach.

Dose anyone have a link they could share to shed some light on this? It would be greatly appreciated.

I am attaching a somewhat blurry pic of the data tag if that helps.

Stevet,

I did track down a cycle chart (last page, MDC controls):
https://www.andrewbarton.com.au/sit...ing Manual - Metered and Nonmetered - SWN.pdf

Looks like it has an intermediate spin, a spin and spray, a rinse (which is also spin and spray?) and a final extract. The lights do change to indicate what part of the cycle it's in, so you might be able to toss some softener in at the right time.. the cycle times might not be exact though, I have seen reference to dip switches that would extend the time from the 30 minutes shown in this chart.

(btw, someone in Imperial thought you might be interested in my post over there)

Thank you!

Ian.
At least now I know when to add any LBC that I need to put into the clothes. Too bad it does not do a fill and agitate rinse for those times when a fabric softener is needed. The water here is moderately hard so unless a softener is used in the wash or added in the dryer, the clothes come out less than soft.
Thanks again for everyone's efforts. It is nice to be able to get 3 loads of wash done in no more than 30 minutes for the wash and the desert heat of the SQ drying system gets everything dry in 45 minutes or less. The dryers, BTW and LP gas fired.

Spray Rinses: I have a 2017 9-series (electronic control) and am the only person I know who uses spray rinses (through a bit of cycle manipulation) on every load...with the exception of kitchen/personal whites, which receive a healthy dose of liquid chlorine bleach. Those loads get a traditional deep-fill rinse. I'd be very hesitant to use LCB with spin-spray rinses.

Other than that, I'm very happy with the water-saving spray rinses. Clothes are clean, no issues with detergent rash, and the world has not spun off its axis, LOL.

may be a bit of aggravation.....but may be worth running two cycles....one for detergent/bleach....and the second for an agitated deep rinse with softener..

I doubt very much if a LCB dispenser was available, that it would be timed....if possible in a coin op machine.....either add it while the machine is filling, then add the clothes.....although usually best to add 5 minutes after the machine has started....but sometimes you have to work within the confines of what the machine will allow...
