Another Facebook find. The seller had an ad for a Speed Queen wringer washer. I already had the exact model of washer, but in the ad sitting next to it, was this dryer. I messaged her about it and she said it was for sale also. She gave me a price and we agreed upon a time for me to go get it. She didn't know if it worked or not.
When I got there, it was still hooked up to the gas line and of course there was no shut off for the gas, with the exception for the main at the meter. They had to call a plumber out on a Saturday to unhook it and he ended up putting a valve on the line there. While I was waiting for the plumber to arrive, I of course tested the dryer. It worked good. It did have some squeaking coming from it, but otherwise it did good.
