Here in Greece and generally in Europe, almost all washers are front-loaders.Even the top loaders are different than american ones because they have a horizontal drum that tumbles exactly like a front loader. The only classic american top loader i've found in greece was a speed queen in a summer camp of a greek island.Unfortunately it wasn't perfectly functional(it wouldn't spin the clothes).I've taken a couple of photos because it is something we rarely see in europe.

I think it's neat to see good old American products where you least expect it. My aunt went to Germany a few years ago and spotted a Dodge Intrepid and a Ford Explorer amongst all of the numerous Volkswagens, Mercedes, BMWs and the other various European cars. She thought she spotted a Mercury Grand Marquis, but that was the autobahn. Too ast to tell, haha.

Anyways, you could tell it is for international markets by the missing instructions under the lid. I wonder how its users like it? They have one of America's best.

Another weird thing about this washer is that it doesn't have a programme selection knob, only a temperature selector with 3 temp settings(cold, warm, hot). It starts automatically when you put a token and push the coin slider.I assume that it is a laundromat machine,so it has only one preset programme.Cycle takes about 30-35 minutes to complete, but as i wrote above unfortunately the spin drying wasn't working.
