I have a Speed Queen LWN432SP115TW01 that I did the water level selector mod on (thanks much to this forum!). However, even at the lowest water level setting, the tub fills up half way. Is this the normal minimum level for a SQ? I noticed what looked like an adjustment screw on the water level selector switch when I put it in, so I'm wondering if it can be adjusted.

water level

I have the same machine and I also did the water level adjustment. After doing the adjustment, the low water level did raise to almost half a tub. I think this is just the way it is. However, others may know differently and if they do, I will be following their advice.

well of course if you adjust to the raise the TOP level, the other levels are going to be affected as well....

but if you want to wash with a low water level, you could open the control panel and readjust the screw for each load, and then raise it again for full loads...

the best way I found was to adjust the set screw for the highest level, and then used a dremel and trimmed the clover wheel for each level where I wanted....variables are a little tricky as you have to trim and file little indents back in...
