Speed Queen ?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Actually....... it is a "Raytheon Made" Amana...... from about 1988-91.....

With the exception of the TOL Speed Queen from 1960, I have never seen a Speed Queen with push buttons on it.

The dryer is a Whirlpool/Kenmore however......

My aunt had this Amana washer to replace her loathed 408 Maytag. (she was always a bit "off")

It was indeed a SQ/Raytheon build but with a side-opening lid that only Amana had. I think this was around mid-80's as SQ was well into the perforated basket design before it was sourced by Amana to round out their appliance line. She had a Speed Queen solid tub washer before the Maytag and continued to use the SQ dryer with the Amana washer.
