Yes, I have a spare transmission, motor, drive coupler, pump, inlet valves, spin clutch, and believe it or not the tub is still available even though I don't have an extra.
I don't have any extra electric control panels or their circuit boards. But the buttons aren't really showing any wear yet and the machines are in an controlled environment (heated/air conditioned) so I'm hoping those will last.
Consumer Reports reviewed this machine, I believe it was in the June 92' issue, and we got them in Feb of 1993. CR gave it a high rating. Because of this you would think that there are a lot of this model machine out there. There isn't. They were special order only and I have only seen a 1 other washer like it in a CL ad the whole time we've had ours. A member or two have seen one of these before. I would gather that there were probably less than 1,000 of these machines made. The question is why would CR bother to review a machine that has such low production numbers?
Except for the electronic control panel, this is just an ordinary WP TL DD machine. We've been very happy with it's performance over the years.
The reason they now live in a closet is that we downsized our home severely in 2001. We moved from a 3600 sq ft house to one that's 1500 sq ft. We did this because we wanted a cheap to run/own house when I retired, and so far it's been just that. But I think we downsized too much. There is not a lot of spare space in this house. Most houses here this size usually have the washer/dryer in the garage.
And I think the humidity would ruin the control panel on this set. So an indoor laundry room was a requirement for our new house.
