This is my friend (our colleague) John Buscemi.
This picture was taken during a visit to the Itaipu Dam, in my city, a few months ago.
That's a "tiny" bearing is one of the smallest part used in the generator's turbine. It's a very light (only 25 ton) part and as you can see it's very small (only 9 meters diameter), perfect for those compact Bendix or those ultra compact Electrolux front loaders. LOL

my little sister, who's due in the fall, and me, with my eyes partially closed, due to my mothers insistence upon having me stare directly into the sun while setting up a shot.
She just finished the Boston Marathon in 3:54 and is using my phone to call her kids at School to celebrate.
