Washer shot - under the hood. Some normal stuff here, but a few odd ball things as well.

First off, and it is hard to see in this photo, but here is the dispenser outlet for the softener, with a hole cut out on the snubber ring top!

If I had not noticed this label on the right hand side of the cabinet, I wouldn't have paid much attention to the bulb...

I've never seen a ballast duty bulb before! Very cool.

Thermostatic, three temp water valve

And, last but not least, the end of cycle chime!

Here's something you don't see everyday - a belt drive with the service panel still in place!

Ok - I've moved around, lifted, and hauled a ton of belt drives. This is, by far, the HEAVIEST one I've never encountered.
Gotta love an ALL PORCELAIN cabinet!

Washer wiring diagram. The dryer's wiring diagram is MIA.

Who doesn't appreciate a shot underneath a Lady's skirt?
Ok, I've got to be honest. I was expecting the worst. I really was. But when I saw how clean everything was on the bottom side, I couldn't believe it!
Notice check valve number 1 where we normally see the '60 and later sump.
Also, they got away with a 2 port pump on this ultra-crazy machine. Amazing!

AND, AND....
The famous marble self cleaning lint filter!

Last, but not least, the second check valve, on the left hand side of the outer tub.

So, ok, enough with the washer. How about the dryer?

Dire warning label!

Top revealed on the dryer.
(the clips aren't missing, they just fell off when the top was lifted.)

Dryer, back shot. Wiring diagram MIA.

Not surprising, but this dryer saw some service!

Dryer burner assembly. Yes, that is correct. 37,000 BTU.

Honestly, the dryer was pretty clean inside. We've all seen much worse.

Lint bag. Or what's left of it.
