To end a great weekend of the vacuum cleaner collector's convention, four of us went over to Chris' house for a wonderful homemade dinner and an evening of relaxing fun. Chris and Dennis made a great dinner and wonderful cheesecake for dessert (it WAS excellent, Chris, no matter what you thought!) and then a little appliance play... Here is part of our group, outside on the patio.

let me just tell you that im sitting here reading this post with the biggest grin on my face..am so glad you guys were able to come by, but still in all the time flew like always, and thats always a sad thing when your havin fun..please come back any old time!! cant wait to get together again..and thaks for not posting the pics of terry or i gettin down and dirty with the dishwasher..well so to speak.. ha ha..big hugs to all you guys from old st lou.

Great pictures, I think I'm always surprised the most seeing such early dishwashers still working because they're more rare than washers especially any pre 1970 and certainly from the 50's
 
That's A Hoover 28!

The popular priced model which ran from right after the war in 1945 until 1950 when the beautiful model 29 was introduced. They made tons of them. Hooverland Jeff could tell you how many.
