St. Vincent's does it again! What a find!

Today my "new" washer and dryer arrived. A 1961 Kenmore set in yellow, complete with the original parts lists, instruction manuals, and two paper records about your purchase. All in near PRISTINE condition!! Fifteen dollars each. Can you believe it! The washer needs some work. The basket drive is frozen up, but I got the transmission to shift into agitate, and that works. I'm going to take my time with these babies, and have fun rebuilding them. I don't know about the dryer. I haven't had time to hook it up for a test yet. If I can get someone to loan me a camera, I'll post some pictures. WWWWEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Do everything you can to borrow a camera!

OR... just buy a camera! This website (a good one, BTW...) has 12 digital cameras for less then $100 each - less then you paid for that washer and dryer!

In any event, I would LOVE to see a full photo essay of your NEW washer and dryer!
