When I was a boy, sitting with my grandmother for the 1/2 hour soap opera of As the World Turns in the 1976-1979 era, there used to be a commercial on TV about the 1-18. It was shown washing an almost Maxi load. Who did that commercial?

1976 Frigidaire TV Commercial

I remember a Frigidaire commercial too from this same time, 1976 or maybe 1977. It showed a Frigidaire machine washing a full load and how fast the clothes rolled over, -VS- the Kenmore, which at the time was just introducing the Dual-Action agitator. The ad showed the Frigidaire washing a full load, and a single gym sock was added which quickly disappeared because of the fas rollover. I can only assume the other sock from the pair was the one tossed in the Kenmore, and how s-l-o-w-l-y it was incorporated into the wash by the Kenmore's ratchety dual action agitator.
Kenmore's TV commercial at the time was the "Fill 'er up, Fill 'er don't worry fill 'er up set to the tune of "Buckle Down Winsocki"
