Jim,

I am so glad that there is another big Patsy Cline fan out there besides myself, I have Sweet Dreams on DVD and watch it at least 2 times a month. I also have quite a few cd's and albums and I love to sing along with Patsy, my favorites being "I fall to Pieces" and "Strange" and everythime I hear her version of "Sweet Dreams" it brings tears to my eyes.

I'm glad someone mentioned Divine. I am a fan of early John Waters films. I had testicular surgery last week and I'm still confined to a recliner. I watched "Multiple Maniacs" this afternoon.

well so much for celebrity inmortality....

Actually anyone at this moment feeling that celbrities have specail powers should be reconsidering after this. It is sooo true we live, we die, its all part of the circle.

Something about death and taxes should be said her but I wont say it.
Willie Nelson ( ok hes not dead just the IRS was looking to kill him.)

I miss every single one of the above mention celebs at least that I knew of. There were a few I didnt know. Some of you wont know the only guy I can add,
Layne Staley

Wanna add some more intrest to this thread? Since weve mentioned about every celebrity there is to mention that has passed on how about now nameng who youd pick if you could only bring five back........maybe even the reason why.

Ill start..lucy...who couldnt learn something new in comedy from her?

monty Clift...........just coz the boy is sizziling

layne staley...........music

patsy Cline.....same reason music

Elizabeth taylor.........somehow I think she bewitched us all and it always in a good way.

adding one more and probably some politcal fire...Ronny Regan...cmon you guys what ever kind of president he was to you he still seemed to like us. It was like haveing dad in the white house even if some of it was tough love.Im not old enough to really put the screws to that but I havent felt safe with a president since.

Patsy Cline--The music, she had so much more to offer. There was talk about her doing an album of show tunes, and being on Judy Garland's tv show.

Lucille Ball--Can make me laugh and doesn't have to swear to be funny.

Tammy Wynette--The Music

Elizabeth Montgomery--I miss Samantha.

Estelle Getty--Small person, huge heart.

A couple more that I just thought of Carolyn Jones, and Yvonne De Carlo.
