It started snowing here in Easton around 4PM today. They are calling for up to 10 inches before it is done tomorrow. Here is a picture I took from the kitchen window while making dinner. It was very fine snow coming down, the picture on the right is a close up against the car.

Here in WI this winter all we've been getting are light dustings of snow. Doesn't even give a person a chance to use the snowblower, DARN.

Congrats, PARunner! Snow rules.

Well, tonight's going to be the coldest night of the season so far. Dropping below 30. YAY! That's pretty good for being in Lousiana.

What time is dinner?? All your treats look great. Is that the chicken soup in the crock pot? Sure looks good tell us about the recipe. Terry

the only chance of us getting 10 inches of snow is if australia up and moves a coupla continents. Altho when i climbed Bluff Knoll (highest point in western australia) last year, there was snow at the top. Of course the chance of getting 10 iinches of somethiung else is much greater, liqorice, piping, or just visit your local freak show...
yes, i'm weird

Here in the East Bay, California: same as always, moderate temps, somewhat warm during the day, occasionally clouds or rain this time of year. Frankly boring after a while, and yeah I do miss the snow!

PArunner, nice kitchen, and good job with the apple pie there.

If shoveling snow is a hassle, get an electric snowblower; these come in sizes up to 20" wide and 10" deep and don't require hassling with a gas engine. If you're expecting more than 10", just do it twice, which still takes less time than shoveling and won't mess up your back. For the hard chunky stuff at the end of the driveway where the snow plow has gone by, bring a regular shovel (the kind that you'd use for digging holes with), and use it to break down the pile into smaller bits at a depth the electric snowblower can digest.

It's cold in Dallas

We are in Dallas for the weekend, and it's freezing here. It's in the 20s and I guess that is pretty cold for these folks. I certainly didn't pack for it.

This transplanted Easterner misses the snow and cold. I know some of you probably think I'm nuts for saying that but I really do miss the snow and cold. It just doesn't feel like winter without it.

Been lightly snowing here in the Atlanta area all morning, but it's not sticking. :(

Maybe if it does this all day and all night, they will call an inclement weather day at work tomorrow and I'll have a day off with pay! Yay!
