We had some light powdery snow last night... here's what it looks like this morning

Ahhhh, I just love those pics

of snow on the ground. Jim, that is a particularly nice one!
Fortunately, I see snow quite often but don't have to deal with shoveling it. But after living in the Minneapolis area and the Chicago suburbs, I know what it's like dealing with that snow! And that was before snow blowers were popular!
Down here it got down to 27 last night, all I had to do was to go out and cover the flowers! It's already 53 outside!

What beautiful snowy Xmas card-looking pics! I may have a few hot toddies and try to make snow angels on the concrete this afternoon.
High 60's and sunny here in Vegas.

Well it snowed here until about 10:30 this morning ew got about 10 inches. Here is my backyard and looking to the front to the street. It took about an hour and 15 minutes to snow blow and shovel the driveway

I love snow.

The neighbors (who normally won't even acknowledge that you are alive) come right up to you and haul out their massive powerful equipment. Not only do they show it to you, but they ask you if you want to work it and touch it.

They laugh at my little one. But I laugh last. I have used it more, in a wider area, and know just how to get it to do what I need it to do.

Here it is for all of you to see (just how rugged I can be)

Terry,

No that was was the sauce with meatballs in the crock pot. The chicken soup is in cooking today. I am just using Wyler's Soup starter today. You just add water and one pound of cut up raw chicken and cook it for 4 hours on high. I let it cook all day on low. We are having it with Crusty Sesame Vienna bread from Wegman's and the rest of the pie for dessert

The apple pie was good, my wife and I ate half of it yesterday. Got to make sure I hit the gym everyday this week.

Typical New England Weather...

But not so typical this winter. My backyard and pool covered in snow.

Here's another picture of my car. The snow is still coming down hard. Don't think I will be going anywhere too soon.

Evan

OK, all of you.....

I was susposed to work the MSP-LGA route tonight and NW cancelled all flights into the BOS-NYC-WAS corridor until tomorrow. Here is the aviation weather for the Northeast area

LGA and EWR (LaGuardia and Newark) both reporting 21 inches of snow! JFK has 16 inches. Most all airports in the Northeast are closed. However Manchester, NH is attempting to take in flights.

These airports are closed and are not accepting any new flights until "time unknown". Several flights had to divert to St. Johns due to fuel concerns.

How would YOU like to be a airline ticket agent tomorrow?

Fortunately, I have a crash pad here in MSP, so I can wait comfortably. I wonder if Airway Charlie got stuck somewhere?

Supposed to been ~30°F last night, but I don't think that happened. Last I recall checking last night, was 37°F. The Carrier 'stat doesn't note the daily high-low temps as the Lennox did. Was 55°F by mid-afternoon.

When I left Houston this morning, the outside temp said the lowest was 27. That's cold! But it is only about 16F outside right now here at MSP. It is susposed to get down to about 11!
Up here it's just typical Minnesota!

Toggle, you look like a little kid dressed up like that! My Mom used to have photos of me all bundled up like that when I was a kid.
