Do any of y'all use a steamer on your laminate? The stuff I had put in the kitchen, bar area was pretty good quality. Its been down almost 12 years and has survived multiple crisis with no damage. I use just what the manufacterer reccomends but I just don't feel its clean enough with every day cooking and two dogs. Thoughts please.

I would say that as long as you don't use a bunch of water on it, washing should be ok. Steaming would actually be preferred because it doesn't leave any water behind to seep between the laminate sections. I'd try it in a small inconspicuous area first. Or if you have any left over from the original installation I'd try it on one of those pieces first.

Isn' laminate very noisy with dogs?

Co Worker

I have a coworker who uses his steam cleaner on his Laminate floors all the time. Says no issue. Obviously there are many different kinds. His is about two years old. He has a dog and wanted to use the steam for the same reason.
