At two different sales, I ran across a 1952 Frigidaire range and a Westinghouse fridge - not sure of the year of the fridge, so I'm hoping someone can tell me. Looks late 40's to early 50's to me.
Both appliances work beautifully, but the Frigidaire's clock isn't working (a common problem, it seems). Is there someone out there that refurbishes these old appliance clocks/timers?
The range features the "Wonder Oven" which allows one to bake and broil at the same time. The element can be moved from the bottom of the oven to the middle and you can set two different tempuratures at once - one for the top half and one for the bottom half. Interesting feature - I'll have to try baking a cake and broiling some steaks at the same time and see what happens!
