Okay, I got frustrated with my dishwasher not cleaning anymore.

Based on reviews here I bought a 5 pound bucket from The Chemistry Store.

WOW!

1/2 tsp. per dishwasher load...the dishes come clean.

On top of only 1 tablespoon of detergent.

Awesome.

It does make a big difference.  Have you used the STPP in your washer?  We do use a teaspoon with a scoop of Sears Ultra Plus in our front load.  Clear rinse by the final rinse.

Last night we opened a box of our hoarded Cascade with Dawn with the 8.0% phosphate content and washed a load of really dirty dishes. Wow did they come out clean and shiny! I had forgotten how good that DW detergent really was!

Just installed my new Asko last night -- wifey did some whites today and the results were ... impressive! (We don't tend to use bleach because of damage to the spider and to rubber)
