Ok time for this thread to come about since I was reading in another thread about strange happenings in our homes. Ok recently in the thread about my aunt disappearing with my dogs going crazy. Well we have had many family visitors to our house over the years, most of whom have never been here while they were alive. My favorite aunt of all times comes thru often. Her name was Aunt Deedee. What a special person she was to me. She always wore a certain perfume, and you know how one scent can change when another person wears it. Well she was the only one who had that special scent with that perfume. Sometimes you can smell it passing thru a room. My wife smells it also. So I guess she is just passing thru to say hello. Same with my grandmother who always wore lilac talcom powder. She comes to visit now and then. Another strange happening we had was 10 years ago on my wifes birthday. Her stepfather who was more of a father than her real father was, that's another story, passed away about a month before her birthday. I had purchase her a dozen red roses and she put them in a vase then on the sofa table in the foyer. We went out to dinner and came back a couple of hours later. We went to hang up out coats in the foyer closet when my wife stopped to smell the roses. She stepped back and ask me what happened? I said what and went over to the vase. In a perfect circle about 2 inches wide around the vase was a layer of what looked like soot from a fireplace or woodstove. No one in the house while we were gone and it wasn't there when she put the vase down. We also have the ghost of our first dog still living in the house. His name was Odie, another tan cocker spaniel. We went to the Olympics in Atlanta. He had a heart attack while we were gone but waited till we got home to pass away. He died in our bedroom next to the bed while we were taking a nap. He still sleeps on the bed and when I am downstairs in my office which is right under the master bedroom he will jump down off the bed and walk around the house going from room to room. I have heard him, my wife has heard him and the 3 cockers we have, have heard him. They stare up at the ceiling downstairs like to say hey he is up there again. The circles that we were discussing in the other thread I believe are orbes also. A good friend of mine has a real old house and we get those all the time when taking pictures inside and outside. Different cameras different times of the day. He also has a lot of activity in his house. Missing tools for days then they appear on the dining room table. Hey I want ghosts spirits or what have you to do some cleaning and vaccumming around here.
