Out thrifting this morning I lucked out and found I'm hoping a complete Coffeemaster. I can't find previous threads on this with pics so can someone tell me what exactly is supposed to be inside the top portion. There is a little lid thing that fits over the tube and has some sort of chain doo hickey.. I don't even know if it's part of the machine or was just in there? Also how do you remove the top portion from the bottom, it swivels easily left and right but I don't want to break anything.

Also I found a beautiful condition white GE triple whip mixer, the older vertical model and it has a working light. It's missing two of it's beaters. They're probably at the ginormous junk store I found it in but I didn't have time to go thru the hundreds of boxes of stuff looking. If anyone has any spares to trade, barter, sell lemme know.

No the filter handle will be the top of the center piece that goes down thru the coffeemaker to the bottom. It's what the filter mounts on. Just press it down at the top and while it's pressed down twist it to the left or right. When it "pops up" you'll see how it's held into the coffeemaster.

Hmmm still confused when I look inside there is just a tube going down between the two globes. There was this other thing like a metal screw cap with a chain sort of thing hanging from it...but I don't know if this was even part of the machine or not? Anybody got a picture?

Here is the top of my old C-30, I laid it out in "exploded format" so you can see the order of things as they are assembled.
First you screw the funnel looking thing tightly into the bottom of the top, FROM THE INSIDE. When I first got my C-30, I tried to screw it up inside from the bottom. It won't work that way!

My carpet isn't stained like that, I wonder why the camera made it look so dirty? It's actually a beige carpet rather than gray!

Here is a photo of the semi assembled funnel portion.
Next after attatching the funnel to the top half, you put a filter in between the two metal disks on the center shaft. Press the pieces together and they will "snap" and stay.
Next, put the shaft with the filter down inside the funnel. Look at the bottom of the completed funnel. See how the bend in the center shaft "catches" the bottom to hold it in place?
If you need any cloth filters, I have a bunch unused. I'll send you a few to get you going. Just PM me with your address and I'll dash them off to you!

Thanks for the pictures. I guess I didn't get a complete set then since I don't have that filter holder, rod thing. I'll have to scout around for one. I still can't separate the top globe from the bottom though the top one does spin around easily

GE Triple whip with light

Oh I'd love to see a pic of it mixing something with the light shining down on the mix the next time you are using it.

My friend says I've got 'mixer-me-toesies' LOL

Soon as I get those extra two beaters and my pc working again I'll be posting pics. I actually got another two mixers along with the GE.. a Hamilton Beach Model G in pretty fair condition with only a ratty cord and a NIB 70's IONA cheapie stand mixer. For someone not a mixer collector per se I seem to be piling them up.
I have pics of some of them over on the WACEM
