Iron....

I've seen ads for these new irons recently and they look pretty cool. Since they are evidently new, not sure if anyone has tried one. I am intrigued by the ability to iron on a board or undock it to steam hanging items.

BUT, not sure what Sunbeam's current quality is like for appliances. I am the biggest fan of their 60s and earlier appliances, but not sure what to expect from them today. Is anyone familiar w/ this iron?

I totally agree, Sam.

Which is why I think I'll wait a while to see what others think of this iron that have tried it. If this was 1961, I wouldn't hesitate. Of course if it was 1961, I would be shocked at the concept of steaming something hanging that wasn't laying flat on a board.

In today's world, I like and use both concepts, so I hope this iron pans out.
