I dunno - there's always this, from the fifth season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, an episode titled, "Not a Christmas Story." The Happy Homemaker, Sue Ann Nivens, makes the entire WJM gang put on hats to sing Christmas carols, and being Sue Ann, her choices of hat aren't quiiiiite appropriate for each person - especially Mary's.
