The right beater(curved blade) falls out.
The other clicks in and won't come out unless I try.
The left one will stay in the right hole unless I try to get it out.

Help

Needed to add this.
Can anyone help with my problem.
Will a new beater do the trick?
Or is there an adjustment?
I can fix anything just don't want to tear into something if it's possible a new beater will fix the problem.
As you can see I'm new to the help site.
I have all kinds of tools.
Just a bit of help.

While you're waiting for some mixer advice, you can try the "super searchalator" option at the top right of this forum's index page.  Click on it and then type your mixer make and model into the field.  Any discussions related to it will be displayed.

There's also a "Manuals & Literature" library link at the top of this page.  You might find service information for your mixer there.  It can be downloaded for a reasonable fee.

Jerry, check the shaft end of the curved beater that keeps falling out.  It's possible that the notches at the end of the shaft might be broken and not engaging into the drive properly.  Kenmores from the mid to late 50s are really bad for that!!

If you could post a photo or two of the mixer and the beaters, that would be great. I have a good hoard of mixer beaters and may just have a replacement if yours is broken.

Help

Bought new beaters and the problem is gone!!

Thanks for the help.

Now does anyone know if they made a sausage filler attachment for that same mixer?
I have the grinder and the gear housing.
Thanks.

I think the sausage filler is called a "horn."  My guess is that the flared end would fit inside the large nut that tightens over the grinder's output plate, or something like that.  In other words, I think you could just buy a horn and use it with the grinder attachment you already have.

Ralph Is Right:

Sausage horns are sold by the diameter; measure the diameter of the grinder's opening.

Also, do you have the power take-off for your Mixmaster? The power take-off has to be attached to the mixer, and then the grinder attached to the power take-off, for things to work. Getting the right PTO for your mixer is important. The grinder will not attach to the mixer without a PTO.
