Well I got feeling very Canadian today!

So I was hungry for poached egg on toast with Fontina cheese and Canadian bacon.

Well I decided to try my "new" toy>> The Sunbeam Egg Cooker!

I thought "this has to be a gimmick" well was I WRONG!

I did the exact egg I wanted cooked to perfection on the setting I chose in LESS time than my Coffeemaster took to brew the coffee!

See the steam rising>>>>

Yummy Jon!!

If I hadn't already eaten breakfast, I would be joining you for some of those lovely eggs!!

My Sunbeam egg cooker is a later model without the fancy schmancy top! Way cool! I'm assuming by the wonderful appearance of your poached eggs, that the gauge is quite accurate!! Tell me this....if I want to avoid raw-toast induced worm infestation, is the T-20 the best model to choose? Opinions please!!

I whipped up a double batch of pancakes this a.m., courtesy of the 1962 BH&G cookbook and Tom brewed some java in the lighted Proctor Silex percolator! I love Sunday breakfasts!! It's the one time that we don't have to be in our usual frenetic rush!!

Enjoy -

Venus :-D

Venus,

If you want to avoid toast worms then by all means a T-20 Sunbeam toaster is the only way to go. On April 26th our T-20 will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary. The manufacture date is stamped on the bottom inside the crumb tray. I'm thinking a small intimate gathering may be called for to celebrate.

Glad you enjoyed your breakfast Jet! The egg cookers (still made by some manufacturers) are really a nice thing.

Neato, I want one of those. Growing up my mom had the stove top egg poaching pan, they were my favorite typ of eggs because we'd play around that they were igloos or little houses.
Question, why is it you can't get Canadian bacon in Canada.. cause it's just ham LOL

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but is all that goo in the top of the attentuator in the photo from the eggs? It kinda looks like someone spit in there. Can this part be cleaned thoroughly?

The Sunbeam T9 toaster matches the C-20 and C-30 Coffee Pots.

Jetcone, now I know who was cooking that fabulous breakfast this morning! It wafted all the way into Everett! Cool gadgets.
Bobby in Boston

Yes that is steam vapor not goo HELLOOOOO.

Bobby you're a stones throw away you'll have to come play soon and I'll make more eggs.

Yes Louis that is my 1985 Kenmore Induction cooktop. I have rebuilt it several times to keep it going, now I am working on my 30 year old Marantz receiver it has thrown a capacitor!!

Venus the eggs were delicious!!
