When it's none other than another Kirby Classic III. It's the one on the right and it's in very good condition. When I put it beside my other one for this pic I did notice some difference though.. The new one on the right has the cord winding pegs on it's left side (from the back) and my original has them on the right. The bags are a little different plaid pattern, not much but enough and the new ones bag is slightly larger? Lastly, the handgrip is rounded on the new one, more comfortable than the thin pointed one on my older one..
Runs beautifully though.
Shining up to follow.

Geeze I almost forgot this which will probably end up on ebay as I already have one or two of them.
A perennial favorite the classic Oster Regency Kitchen Center with food processor.

Congratulations Jeff and Pete on the Kirby Tradition and the Classic. Both look to be in great shape. Doesn't look like it will take to much work to make them both look like new. Have fun guys! Terry

My Kirby's

Pete, no attachments for the Tradition or the Omega I just got, but I am looking.
The other models I have are a much rebuilt model 518, an all original model 561, a Heritage II purchased brand new in 1987, and the G6 my roomate got for me last summer.
I've been using the G6 to clean with, alternating with my Hoover Conquest.
In playing with the Tradition this weekend I had forgotten just how bad the paper bag system was. No worries though, That will be remedied soon enough!

I'm a Loser

Said: No self propelling here, you gotta push... btw did you see the other ronson cook'n stir on ebay?

A sniper got it (the one in the first link you kindly sent me) for $4 above my bid :-(

That was my first time on flea-pay!

Sorry about your loss of buying some fleas. I have been there many times bidding on old vacuums. I found out over the weekend the location of 5 thrift stores with in 10 minutes of my house. And there are probably more. These are just in Easton and Nazareth. I have to check out Bethlehem and Allentown which are bigger cities. I may not be able to have a wash-in but a thrift hunt may be fun too.

My grandmother had/has an Oster Kitchen Center, was given to her as a Christmas gift some years ago when she was still doing lots of baking (before the stroke). I'm sure it's still there, must check this evening.
