I know someone out there can answer this question. I have a Suzy Homemaker dishwasher in great shape except the motor does not work. I have removed it and tried touching the two wires to a battery and it is dead. I have been searching on the internet for a replacement motor and all that I find seem to be just a little too big and all seem to have the connections on the bottom instead of the side.
The motor I need is about 1 inch long excluding the spindle and 1 5/8 inches with the spindle. It is 7/8 inch in diameter. It has the connection wires on the side instead of the bottom. Has anyone ever replaced one of these? Or, does anyone know of a place I might find a motor like this? I can take a photo if anyone wants to see what it looks like.
I would sure appreciate any help you might have. I am really eager to get this thing going as I suspect it will be fun to watch. This will be my first official vintage dishwasher repair LOL! Maybe someday I'll have a real one to fix!!
Thanks, Ralph
