Wondering what to do with that spare $500 you have lying around? Whirlpool and P&G are betting the farm you'll want their latest clothing care system called the Swash.
Hang a garment in the device, add a Swash pod (that's where P&G comes in), and 10 to 15 minutes later, it's de-wrinkled, deodorized, and ready to wear. Don't you dare call it a steamer, admonish the corporate parents; temps stay well below 200 degrees.
Great idea for dress pants which get wrinkled but not dirty after a single wearing; ditto shirts; ditto skirts, dresses and whatever else it is you ladies wear.
One more thing: Keep plenty of pin money on hand for the pods: They're $.60 apiece. It appears the Swash handles only one garment at at time, so....ca-CHING!
And yes, of course I want one. It'll fit perfectly next to that new Samsung Baby Clothes Washer.
WhirlGamble (ProcterPool?) plans an August launch.
