You have to have chutzpah to have such adorable irreverence for your own parent company.

If Electrolux inherited any degree of WCI's panache, all the GE appliances for the next few years will look exactly like the existing models, only the inside will be a Frigidaire. It'll be like taking to our beds in 1980, all over again...

Volvo Sale

Not to quibble too much but SWEDEN didn't sell Volvo to a Chinese buyer, Dearborn did, if you recall, they were owned by Ford. (so you could say we, as Americans, or Detroit sold them off). The Swedish government wouldn't put up the money to save SAAB a few years back.
