Friday night Rachel Maddow ended her show with a cocktail moment and she used a beautiful totally clear hand cranked ice crusher. She mentioned that it was a Swing Away. I have seen the plastic base models, be never one with a clear plastic crushing chamber. I wonder how it will hold up. The blades of the crusher were metal.

We had two: One was white and kind of square. The other one was mounted to the wall. Both got sold in the landmark yard sale of 1977!! Lolll

It looks just like a Swing Away but on Amazon it comes up as Cillio brand. It was a great segment on Rand Paul tied in with the faux-julep cocktail at the end!
