On that link it didn't have a price listing. Holy crud, $549 retail? It looks like a nice alternative for people that need a dryer in a small space. Too expensive to be toy for me now though.

It will never make it to actual production, But if you want to throw away $300 go for it.

Many problems, It is too small be useful for drying larger pieces of clothing, It is physically too small to house all the equipment needed to make it work, Lint in the machine and on clothing could be a big problem.

The "vacuum" technology is super new, nobody saw it before ROFL. (except ALL DRYER MANUFACTURERS ALL OVER THE WORLD).

Instead of "blowing" the air, this fantastic and innovative "vacuum" dryer sucks the air through the lint filter...

WOW... incredible.... how nobody thought about that before? hahahahahah

It's actually quite a bit different then that.

Lower pressure, lower boiling point, easier evaporation.

Not even real air flow, the total airflow in the entire cycle is twice the drum volume, once in once out.

Thing I would be verry carefull about is a) that this is a relativley large vacuum chamber and any damage to any of that could cause quite catastrophic failure and b) that seals on this will be such a huge point of failure and a gone or even just going seal is an immediate 100% loss of function.

I talked to the "inventor" of this machine... Your theory is completely right, but it's not what THIS machine has.

It has absolutely nothing different from a regular dryer (except that is tiny)

Yes, it dries a "load" in 15 minutes
*considering lightweight items, like dress shirts.

Note that it fits TWO SHIRTS.

Now do the math.

I can dry 2 dripping wet dress shirts in less than 15 minutes using a clothes iron LOL.

Even if it worked as claimed it's just too small to be practical.

I am really failing to see why having a dryer that, at best, can dry one or two pieces of clothing at a time would be better or easier or more practical in any way over a standard, $25 folding drying rack. Even if this works exactly as advertised, which I doubt, this is still a ridiculous waste of money.

While I have absolutely no use for a mini dryer, I also like new product ideas—especially the ones that seem too ridiculous to succeed. Things people scoffed at: Automobiles, radio, airplanes, television, computers, the telephone.

Now for the important question: Can it hold a queen-sized comforter, LOL?

We released the Mojave dryer (made in UK) a little bit over a week ago.

Guess how many people emailed exactly the same question... or exactly the same question regarding a King-sized comforter.

The Mojave is electric and it's 110V 60Hz. 15A

It's basically the same "White Knight" dryer sold in UK, (original project by Philips) but together with White Knight, we developed a new blower and a new heating element.

We compensated the weaker heating element (110v vs 220v) with a badass airflow.

this is obviously, to some, a specialty item....

while not exactly practical to replace or use where a regular dyer would fit....

it will fit the bill for some....campers, mobile home/RV, apartments that dont allow a laundry, etc....

would be a good match for the mini twintubs
