While trolling CL came upon someone selling parts off a GE front loader.

If you look closely that drum spider is broken between the 12 and 4 position arms. Its broken right at the drum drive hub. But thats not all that going on here, lots of corrosion. Unless one gets a new spider installed and I am not sure with GE that it is separate or one would have to buy the whole drum and spider.
How Do People Do These Things To Washers?
That is a fairly new model washer, how did it get to such a state in short period of time? Owner abuse?

"The parts are used and a good condition. The tub had a small crack but it was successfully repaired. The bearings are good no rust. The spin tub is in great condition."
If seller thinks that tub is in "good used condition" it goes far in explaining how things got to such a state.
