Tap cold water temperature

A friend was telling me about the water situation in a town in Maine. They have a municipal water system, but it is shut down and drained in the Fall to prevent it from freezing. Everyone has to have their own well for water through the Winter, or else they just leave their summer places and go away for the winter.

Accuweather.com reported that May, 2010 was the warmest May globally since records started being kept in the late 1800s.

Here is Michigan it's rare to have "warm" cold water. In the winter it's really cold, in the summer it's just cold. Just checked, my instant read thermometer pegs it at 58 degrees...

I just took a reading after my shower since the water has been running awhile, and I got 57˚ reading. I've never took a reading of our cold water, should see what it is in Aug when we do get our hot weather.
