Tappan Fabulous 400 cooktop surface element

I have an old-old Tappan Fabulous 400 (40" model.) All 4 cooktop surface elements burned out. Trying to find the replacement but failed. Because the connector of the element is kind of "different" (see attached phones.) Please help me with the model number and/or part number and/or where can I get the element. Thanks.

If you have an appliance parts dealer near you, all you need to do is give them the model number of your range and a description of the part you need. If it is close enough to be able to reach by car, you can go in with the model number of the range and the surface units with you and they will find replacements for you. Probably Chromalox makes a replacement element. In fact, they probably made that element.

Older Style Plug-In Electric Surface Elements

You will probably have to replace both the element and the receptacle with the newer style plug-in-elements, any good appliance parts place can help if you take in some of your old parts.

 

Note.. With PISEs you almost always need to replace both the element and the receptacle unless the contacts are in perfect condition, replacing just the element seldom works for long if at all.
