Tappan Pan-O-Matic

Has anyone ever heard of a Tappan Pan-O-Matic. I have one of these in my basement and am looking to get rid of it. I have a complete collection of pans to go along with it as well as the burners.

apartment had one of these and I loved it. It was great to use and I hated to leave it behind but it did belong to the landlord.

I've seen similar full size Tappan ranges, that used a console like that. The top was a warming tray.

My parents had that stove when I was growing up. The warming tray on top stopped working early on, but they had that stove for probably 20 years. It was pretty mod.

Ok. Staring at the above pictures a little more, The thing is basically a control console. You flip a piece down and plug in various burners and/or pots and the console controls them like a JennAir cartridge setup. That way, you can put all the attachments away and have a clean counter. Am I close?

RCD you are correct in your observations. The warming tray on this unit still works. This unit also has a vent fan. I have listed this on ebay as I have no idea what to do with it. Thank You.
