I think I may have seen it once or twice LOL, Such as this does really get to me, I wouldnt want the ovens, but those Hotpoint cooktops are to die for, but I can appreciate the fact that the ovens, especially the microwave are extremely rare, I think some people love to get rid of anything old, a good example is todays heating and ac technicians, if they go to service a furnace, and its more than 15 years old they do their damnedest to talk the owner into a more efficient one....never mind the thin cheap furnace you install now wont last 15 years!!!When I worked for a HVAC company in my younger days, I serviced many oil furnaces installed in the 40s and 50s that were still going strong, we did efficiency checks on some of them and most of the time came up with 80 percent or there abouts, and they were made of metal!!

Come to think of it, my very in-laws live in that area--in Bloomfield Hills! So I was more closer to this venue than I thought... (Forgot...--or just haven't visited in a while!)
Nice stuff; my mother- & father-in laws had '80's stuff replaced w/ "passable" current stuff, so I don't feel so bad...

So Sorry To Hear These Ovens Probably Got Scraped
When I find something that I really want and it is out of state I have found that you have to throw some real money at it to get the buyers cooperation: If the price for these ovens had been §500 or more the owner would have been sure not to let them get away: I love getting a bargain as much as the next guy, but unless you are standing there with a truck and cash these bargains tend to get away,

Did You Talk to the contractors
Who knows,they may have kept them! Would not hurt,to see,who knows they maybe in a dumpster in the driveway.Goog Luck!

Bob, yeah, I inquired and she was going to investigate but I doubt anything will come of it. It's pretty clear the contractors are doing all the labor. Both ovens had been moved to the garage before sale and were hauled off with the rest of the demo materials during the day while the owners were away.
John, you make a good point about money doing the talking. Given the house, I'm surprised the seller even bothered posting these! - Cory

A good example...
My good friend Jerry Gay, "Easyspindry" on here ,said when he remodeled his kitchen in the early 70s, he came home to find all the new cabinets over the range were installed, this was fine, until he noticed they had not put the ductwork in for the range hood, their excuse, "Well, you can use a ventless hood", Jerry is not one to suffer fools! he made them tear it all back out and do it right!
