I just brought home a used top load Speed Queen washer AWS45NW I found on Marketplace for $50. I would have been happy with anything that worked for that price after 5 days of laundry had piled up after my Maytag stopped spinning. I hadn't heard of Speed Queens before seeing this one for sale, but I've come to learn that Speed Queen is maybe a solid brand. The new ones sound like they are really sturdy with a good warranty.
I'm wondering if, even if this one is older, I can hope it still has a good bit of life in it yet. Does anyone know approximately how old this model is?
How have top load Speed Queens worked out for you all?
So far, I'm already impressed: the first load was super quick, the clothes seem really "dry," and they seemed clean. Did I hit the lottery with this find?
