Hello all. Pun intended! Presenting one of my latest purchases, a Schulthess Spirit Topline 6155 commercial machine. This is my second commercial machine, have another Lux on the way. Unlike my current Commercial Lux this Schulthess is a pump drain model, so no extra plumbing work needed. Machine has several cycles, further cycles are enabled by pressing the Easy Care button. Cycle times are very quick, and performance is super. Have attached a pic of the unit, will film it running in the week. Feel free to ask questions and I will answer them as best I can!

These are wonderful washing machines! I love this series, because the programs can be selected very easy and quickly, while still allowing a flexible programming of extra options. Performance is fantastic, as long as the higher waterlevel is programmed for rinsing.

How old is your Schulthess? The foto below shows a newer Modell (from 2006), despite big display, it is not that user-friendly like yours.

Interesting that they say they introduced the first automatic household washing machine in Europe. I'd think that was Constructa.

It's OK, Louis, maybe they introduced the first automatic household washing machine in Europe the very same way that Maytag invented the frontloader when they release the Neptunes...

Sorry I totally forgot I made this thread and didnt post again!

The machine was built in 2002, although it dosent seem that old in my view!

We do still get Schulthess machines over here, although most are badged up machines for a commercial laundry and catering company - they also badge up Alliance Laundry machines too - JLA. Very rarely do you see actual ''Schulthess'' badged machines here but they are still available!

I have videos of my machine to be published on the 14th Sept 2017 on my youtube - The Laundry Centre. One of them is a video of it going through service mode tests.

I wish we could buy Schulthess here in the States.  I've looked at them before on their website.  I may be wrong but I have a feeling it would be an excellent machine that would last a long time.

One can imagine reasons why, but still the often cheesy music that accompanies laundry equipment videos bothers. Would much prefer hearing something about the machine in question.



As for seeing Schulthess officially on these shores, I shouldn't get one's hopes up. Our pesky reliance upon 50hz and mostly 220v wattage means European laundry equipment must be rejigged to suit. Even Miele let that ship sale and only offers 120v washers now, at least for the domestic market.
