The other side of this large fold-out brochure is a tableau of all of the available models, by themselves and in pairs in white and in Hotpoint "Colortones". There's also a pretty 1950's housewife holding a basket of flowers and a feature-chart breakdown for the washers and dryers. If anyone's interested I'll scan and post it.

I am

Gosh, this is great. Would you mind? I know what a pain scanning big things can be, but this is just wonderful. Hotpoint was once a quality brand...

Thanks for posting this!! I wonder if Wonder-rinse was only available from your Hotpoint Dealer?

What year is this model? I'm guessing a 1958 which I think is the first year Hotpoint did away with the spider clutch tranny design.
Am I correct, Robert?

Re: Please Post:

My Parent's had probably a "MOL" Model Washer and I would like very much to see the other Models, to see if your Literature has their Model in it as well, thank you.

Wow Wonderinse

Let me guess, refills of Wonderinse were only available at the Hotpoint dealer?

...and please people, in the future, please be mindful of using the correct terms when talking about these machines. The cleaning action is achieved by means of a rubber-finned *Aquatator*!

If I am not completely mistaken, and I often am these days, the little red H emblem on the control panel pulled out and behind it was a trough. You poured the stuff in there and that routed the pink stuff to the reservoir. Wonderinse fluid looks a lot like Sta Puf in that first generation of undiluted fabric softeners. You would not need to use softener in that water dryer, except maybe for synthetics, but even with synthetics, static electricity was not much of a problem.
