Lost Laundry!

Today I got up and was thwarted in my efforts to find a white tee, white boxers and white socks. I checked the drawers, none, I checked the hamper none, I checked the floor in my room none,I even took a gander under my bed NONE.
So I knew they all had to be somewhere! Off to the laundry studio on the hunt. Checked all the machines in the East bay NONE!
Finally I get round to the West bay and there sitting inside the '62 GE combo a white party has been going on since Tuesday. Missing Laundry finally found!
I need "full" sensors with jewel lights upstairs that can tell me who is witholding laundry!

"WHICH dryer, Dad?"

My son has spent more than a few minutes checking dryers in the basement looking for articles of clothing, but I just figure it's good to learn to "dress out of the dryer" as he'll need that skill later in life and the scavenger hunting teaches patience and persistence ;-)

GREG !!

You are cracking me up ! What a wonderful daddy, teaching your son necessary survival skills ! I had never thought about that part of it, with you guys that have a plethora of machines. I would have to keep a notebook of what was in what machine. Patience and persistence....LOL ! Mom used to start a load of wash if she wanted to get me out of her hair. You must tell Sky- would you go find those load of whites ?

Jon has all the luck!

You're so lucky to have left then in a combo
and find them therefore dry
Imagine the alternative-- a sour wash
unless of course like Eugene
you swear by Mister Clorox

I've gone two weeks wondering what happened to my favorite pair of shorts until I found them still wet in the '58 GE, along with a full load of colors that I forgot to put in the dryer over two weeks earlier! LOL

Were they still fresh--

or did they go sour?
It's all a crap shot
sometimes they're fine
sometimes uh-oh, oh no
not again. I do it, probably once a month

But if they do go sour,

then it's: Oh no, another load of wash I have to do all over again. What a shame! NOT REALLY -------YAY YAY YAY FOR MORE WASH DAY YIPPEE!

Hello, Robert

It's funny,

I was in a recently-remodeled house a few weeks back, and they had two new dual-drawer Kitchen-Aid dishwashers in the kitchen.

I was thinking how inconvenient it would be never to know which one was full, which one needed to be run, and which one had that spatula that's just right for over-easy eggs in it.

I have one dishwasher in the kitchen and one in the bar, but four in one room would be more trouble than they'd be worth.

If you have a colleciton of a variety of cool equipment that's one thing, but this seemed like an annoying waste of space and money.

I have two dishwashers..

and the way I try to remember is I use one mostly for dishes and glasses and stuff like that and the other almost strictly for pots, pans and larger items that fill the dishwasher quickly. That works well until the other half decides to help with the dishes which fortunately (or unfortunately as some might think) isn't that often.
