OMG!!

I'm in seventh heaven looking at all that stuff!! Tell me, did I spy some Vaporesse Ironing Water on those shelves? That stuff is terrific! It turns your steam ironer into a spa! LOL

Great pics! Glad to see that you still have lots of powdered detergents too!

Thanks Nick, now I can just stay at home and look at detergent!

Has your Tesco pulled Surcare FS too? Can't find it at Asda either

Noticed the lack of Ariel sensitive apart from liquid, it's still available in abundance down here. Have yet to spot a pack of Ariel with Febreze though. I also wonder if Ariel have dropped `Turn to 30' as most of the packaging seems to be returning to normal.

Take care Nick

Thanks for the awesome pics! I saw "Finish" dishwasher detergent there....had that here years ago and I loved it...when it washed, everything smelled sterelized...not like some fruit or perfume. Thanks again.

bingwsguy~

I agree with you Joe, about Finish. My Grandmother always used it in her dishwasher. It did such a great job. I haven't seen it here in the states since the late 70's early 80's..Retromom, I am sure you have the answer. =)

Amazing.....so neatly stocked!:)

Such a diverse selection, compared to London stores in the early 80s....

I'd have to try the Persil liquid, to compare it against the German Persil liquid I have.....also Ariel non-bio liquid, and the Ariel regular powder. I'd also be curious about the Bold variants.

IIRC, Finish compares to Electrasol, Windolene to Windex, Flash to Mr. Clean, Mr. Muscle to Fantastik, Dettol to Lysol....

Tesco certainly seems to push their house brand far more than our supermarkets do their own.

Notice the absence of chlorine bleach, compared to our shelves, and even the Australians'....similar to Germany.

Also, the softener packaging seems more "upscale" then ours...

Thanks so much for posting this, Nick....what a laundry lovers' smorgasbord!!

that is what I miss about all the "new" Cascade formulas..... nothing smells clean like it used to. I remember going into the kithcen when the dishwasher was running the main wash and experiencing that crisp chlorine "cleanness" smell. I have switched to the Electrosol reg formula (not orange) and thats pretty close to the old Cascade
