Me, I thought it probably was the only way they could wrap things up and maintain what sanity they had left.
That said, it was a bit on the ordinary side, what with the intimation that the whole experience was really a post-death journey through the seven levels of Hell with the bright light of Heaven awaiting those worthy of the distinction.
No I didn't count the levels but I imagine someone will.
Although I'm a bit disappointed the whole thing didn't have a more scientific raison de n'etre pas, I'm sort of glad it wrapped up so I get get my Tuesday and/or Wednesday nights back and not be so obsessed with trying to figure out what everything means.
But I still want to join the Dharma Initiative.
