If you ever want to experience the feeling of flying, try Skycoaster. It's scary as hell but you will "fly" suspended by a cable.

That was really cool. At first I thought the plane actually had an airspeed indicator and artificial horizon, but the needle on the airspeed didn't move the entire time. I think it was painted on "for effect" and is not real.
Looks like he got up to abotu 4-500 feet or so in that video.
