I've seen my sahre too

Here is a pic of a pathetic model 31 I got for $2.99 at a thrift store.

PS pardon the mess in the barn. This was taken a few years ago.

Here is another one

A model 35 with a headlight. Tom and I got to the bottom of it as I found two this way. Apparently is was a vac shop rebuild.

Seamus,
Yes those are two Aussie machines. The one with the dark bag is a U4128, and the all gold machine is a U4008. Both courtesy of my friend John in Sydney.

Thanks guys for the information and comments! As I expected, this one doesn't have a headlight, just the lens, which is probably a good thing! When I removed the hood, I almost thought there would be a headlight, but with some scary wiring arrangement!

Even though it's definitely not original, it still performs like it should and picks up well. The motor runs perfectly on both speeds with no "bearing growl", so after the Frankevertible job I don't think it has seen much use.

Seamus, that 707 is just wild...I love it! One of these days I'll find one, eventually. That and a REAL 728, LOL!

Hi Pat, no this particular machine came from Columbus Ohio, but I have seen a few located in Oxon Hill on eBay before.
