As those of you who can read the "As the Tub Turns" section may know, I have a new job managing the warehouse at Cincinnati Appliance Parts in downtown Cincinnati, OH. I get to be in charge of all the inventory in my store, and can see the inventory throughout the chain. One of our best customers is BA Filter Supply, a small internet-based appliance and filter parts company based across the river in Newport, KY.
The reason why I am writing is because BA just bought the very last GM-Frigidaire style Radiantube stove elements available from the manufacturer. They are no longer being made and you can't get any more. He will be taking delivery of the final 283 elements from my warehouse tomorrow or early next week. I don't know how long it will take them to put the elements in their system, if they aren't already there. If you want to buy any elements, please contact BA Filter Supply.
I was digging around in the basement and found another interesting oddity that is available through Cincinnati Appliance Parts. It's a white Norge agitator. It's not the Burpalator, but the Burpalator look-alike used in models with the stationary basket-style filter or no lint filter. It has a Maytag sticker on it (Maytag bought Norge) and is sitting in the basement waiting for someone to buy it.
There's also a Maytag black agitator. I don't know which one, but I'll just guess it's for a commercial washer with an Orbital transmission.
I'll post other interesting things as I find them. It's my 1st week, so I'm still getting a hang of things. No I can't get anyone special pricing on parts, but I'll keep an eye out for NLAs and dead stock of interest.
The link is to BA filter Supply,
