Almost a month ago I decided to move back to Manhattan since my marriage is over and I’m going through my “youth” again. The only downside was the restriction about washer and dryer in unit. Unfortunately I had to sell my Miele W1 set and be like everyone else and use the buildings washers.
Running 3 loads realized that it’s not only expensive ($3 for the Maytag commercial , $3 fixes price for 30 mins in the dryer) but the cycles were altered in that way that nothing was getting clean.
I looked around for a portable and I decided to go for the laundry alternative puriFi.
I’m shocked ! This machine has an internal water heater that actually performs boil wash ! I washed my towels and they got bright white again !!
The other insane part is that this washer has an 800rpm spin speed which makes everything dry !
I also got their dryer. I was very skeptical due to the size but I realized it fits a full load of the puriFi.
The dryer has 2 motors and it’s EXTREMELY quiet.
I know I can’t compare them to the Miele but so far I fell in love with them

Launderess,

This was the machine I was looking for on Marketplace. But looks like nobody's selling it. Also I was looking for those small Chinese front loaders, but it looks like Amazon stopped selling them a long time ago.

I got in contact with Thomas from Laundry Alternative and I got sold. So far I have run 6 loads and the machine behaves pretty well. All of my white kitchen towels came out sparkling clan with the Intensive HOT cycle. I mean, its not like my Miele W1 but its better than using the shared laundry in the basement.
